Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah's Future in Doubt: Will He Ever Return to the NFL? (2026)

The future of Cleveland Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is in doubt after a severe neck injury in October 2024. Will he ever play again?

According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, it's a long shot. Owusu-Koramoah was injured in a collision with Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry, requiring him to be immobilized and taken to the hospital. He spent the entire 2024 season on the physically unable to perform list.

In a statement, Owusu-Koramoah expressed his uncertainty about the future, saying, "I don't know what's next, but I'll continue trusting my medical team, serving the community, and backing my brothers on the field."

The 2021 second-round pick has had a promising start to his career, with 308 tackles, eight sacks, three interceptions, and six forced fumbles in 49 games. But this injury raises questions about his long-term prospects.
